Award-Winning & Board Certified Oncologist with over 30 years of experience

Dr. Bryson is an award-winning oncologist that specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of all types of cancers, including hematologic oncology. He has been practicing Oncology and Hematology in Visalia since 2000 and founded Bryson Cancer Care in 2004 where he provides top-of-the-line cancer treatment.

Dr​. David R. Bryson graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 1980 and completed a 3-year Internal Medicine Residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in 1984, along with a 3-year Hematology & Oncology Fellowship at Madigan Army Medical Center in 1987. 

 

​Having earned the title of Colonel Bryson in the United States Army, Dr. Bryson was deployed twice as a medical officer in support of our troops to Kansas in 2003 and Germany in 2005. He served his country on duty for 75+ days per year as an Army Reservist until he retired in August 2007 with 30 years of service.

Bryson Cancer Care remains one of the most reputable and successful cancer treatment centers in the Central Valley. As Medical Oncology is a field that constantly yields technological and medical innovations, one of Dr. Bryson's primary focuses is to remain up to date on the latest advancements in cancer care. ​Dr. Bryson works closely with cancer specialists at several national cancer centers in California  to provide specialized cancer treatments so there are no limitations to providing state of the art care for our patients. We regularly collaborate with the cancer centers at: Stanford, UCSF, UCLA, UC Davis, City of Hope, USC, Cedar Sinai, and Loma Linda University. Dr. Bryson's caring and dedicated approach, paired with his access to the latest innovations in cancer care yields the consistent satisfaction and effectiveness of cancer treatment in his patients.
